Disneyland: Day 1

Tuesday 27-9-05

Today I went to Disneyland. We went on Space Mountain, but I didn't like it because it was dark and there were lots of turns. We went on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters where we had to sit in a little spaceship and on the way we had to shoot the crosses at the creatures. Nano got a higher score than me. We went to Snow Whites Scary Adventures, Pinocchio's Daring Journy, Peter Pans Flight and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. They were all kind of the same, but they had different things to ride in and different tracks. We went on Mad Tea Party which was tea cup rides. We went on the Matterhorn Bobsleds which is a big rollercoaster which goes through a big, white mountain. It was fun, During the day it was very hot and crowded. We went on Dumbo the flying elephant ride which was where we sat in a Dumbo and we went up and down, We went on the Indiana Jones Adventure which I didn't like and it was bumpy and we had to sit in cars. We went on Splash Mountain which was a log boat ride and we went in a dark mountain that had light up things on the side. We came to a small hill where we went up and then down. We got a bit wet. Then after a while we came to the end. It was a bigger hill with a drop. It was freaky because it looked like we were going to land in a big pretend thorn bush. It was fun. We went up Tarzans Tree House and saw some things that Tarzan and Jane used. We went on a big water boat and I got my picture taken with Goofy and Pluto. We went on a short rollercoaster and before it was out turn we saw Minnie and Mickey mouse and Pluto. on it. There were a few corners and it went very fast, so it only took about one and a half minutes. We were standing in line for about 10 minutes. We went on a little boat through "It's a small world castle" and saw little people from lots of different countries singing "It's a Small world". We went on Rodger Rabbits cartoon spin which was where we sat in small cars and spun around during the journey. We went on Storybook and canal boats which was where we were in a boat and we looked at little houses and castles. We also bought some things too. I had lots of fun today.

Trip to USA

Monday 26-9-05

On the aeroplane it was very uncomfortable. The highest temperature outside the aeroplane was -61 C. It was nice and warm inside.The first thing we had to eat was a drink of lemonade. After we finished that, they brought us our lunch/dinner. I had chicken, beans, mash potato (I didn't like it), and some water. After a while they took the dishes away and gave us a snack pack. It had a muesli bar, dried fruit, garlic sticks, mint lollies and a bottle of water. After we ate some food Nano and I did some things in a book and went to sleep. We watched Madagascar on the little tv's on the back of the seats. When we were up in the sky, we were 11887 metres off the ground. The speed we were going was 1078 km. We saw a few islanda and ships when we were coming close to Los Angeles. At the airport we got our suitcases and lined up get our passport stamped. Then we went outside and waited for the van to take us to the Motel. Our motel room number is 144. To get in the room we have to slide a card down a slot. That is the locks. After we unpacked we went to the pool. There was a warm spa and a cold pool. The spa is nice and warm. Then we went shopping and I bought a horse and carriage for Polly Pocket. Then we went back to the pool when we came back from Target. After we went for a swim we walked down the road of Disneyland and saw some rides. Then we walked to the pizza shop and had pizza for dinner. When we came back from the pizza shop we went back to the pool again. This time I met a girl called Sarah and she is 11 years old. She is from Sydney. We also met 2 boys. We played in the pool and splashed the boys and they splashed us back. It was fun. Then we came back and had a shower. Nano is watching T.V and I am writing. Tomorrow I am going to Disneyland and so is Sarah.

My New Blog!

A few days ago, I found an old diary from my trip to Los Angeles. Mum suggested that I type all my journal entries up on a blog, so here they are (I tore the pages out, then gave Ducky that diary).
This blog is about my 2005 California Adventure. I went there with Nano and stayed for 5 or 6 days.I'll type out exactly what I wrote in my journal after each day, and share pictures too. Some pictures have been taken by Nano, while others are scanned ones that I took with a film camera.
